Message	But you can definitely get away with 7/8 bolts. The RTV seals things up anyhow providing you can get most of the bolts in. And it's not under enormous pressure or anything. So it will work if you decided to be lazy. I've done the same thing before, only I knew I was taking the car apart again in just a couple months. So I just left it and fixed it next time. It didn't leak oil at all. And was still a bitch to pry off next time. So it sealed just fine. Anyhow...all that said, I'd take the time to fix it right.
